Mad Max the open world survival game from Avalanche Studios looks even more likely to be coming to Linux. We shared with you at the start of February details that it might be coming to Linux, and now it looks quite likely.
Thanks to SteamDB as usual:

This is one game I am terribly excited about!
I would like to remind you this doesn't mean it's confirmed, and it doesn't mean it's coming soon. Certain websites like to claim they have insider information on game ports when they reference SteamDB, but remember to not trust anonymous sources. They are anonymous for a reason: usually untrustworthy.
About the game
Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular against vicious gangs of bandits. A reluctant hero with an instinct for survival, Max wants nothing more than to leave the madness behind and find solace in the storied “Plains of Silence.” Players are challenged with treacherous missions as they scavenge the dangerous landscape for supplies to build the ultimate combat vehicle.
We will keep you updated as usual, you can trust us as your honest source of Linux gaming news.
Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I really hope that this comes to Linux, I loved the Mad Max films and this game sounds sooooooooo promising (OK, it may be implemented poorly, but we can stay positive for the moment). The more AAA games that come to the platform the better it is for us as Linux users. The whole chicken and the egg seems to be sorting itself out (although we are still a way off from being at the windoze level): people can't try Linux without installing it themselves (no, now we have Steam Machines), people want AAA titles (some are already here, more are on the way).
All in all the future is looking bright for the Linux gamers \o/

This would be a very nice consolation prize after the Arkham Knight debacle.

Not naming anyone directly, but when some websites are weeks late covering something and they claim they have an anonymous source and all they can show for it is SteamDB: Don't buy into it.
