There's a pretty big patch out for Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition that fixes a number of issues, and shows Larian is supporting their game well.
QuoteMade certain ingredients for recipes drop more often
Updated weapon stats for Bairdotr's bow
Added Tectonic Spray skillbook recipe
Added notification when failing to identify an item
Rebalanced combat at the end of the game
Tweaked mushroom combats in Dark Forest (related to poison clouds)
Protection crystals are not destructible by default
Tweaked headless zombie behavior
Tweaked Icara and Icandra script to not use healing spells on characters that have Zombie Talent
Removed 10 page limit for books
+ lots of bugs fixed
See the full patch notes here.
Find Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition on GOG & Steam.
How have you guys been finding the Linux version? I still haven't found the time to sit down and give it a proper run through, what am I missing?
Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Shame on them for continuously updating their game and making other developers look bad. :D
In all seriousness, I've put in 40 hours, and I think I'm only about halfway through it. It has all the things I like: good story, decent combat, crafting, leveling, character customization and good visuals. I think it's probably the best turned-based game I've played.

I bought it recently on GOG (when they had a discount for it for the first time), but didn't have a chance to play it yet. Still busy with first playthrough of KoTOR games :)

Well, the BIG patch was a small 14MB download for linux version but it's still nice to see them bringing updates. Fun fact: a friend running windows said he had to download a couple of hundred MBs for it.
The linux version runs great btw!
Playing GOG version on Linux Mint 17.3 co-op with a friend who is running Windows and and we are having lot's of fun. Did not run into any problems that did not occur on the Windows version as well.
The combat is a little to easy if you do not select at least "tactitian mode" in the beginning (unfortunately you can only change between the normal and easy difficulty once you have started - the more challenging ones need to be selected from the get go).
Anyway there is enough reviews out there in case someone is interested and the Linux version is rock solid.

It should be noted that none of the changes seem Linux-specific. That said, the Linux port of D:OS is really good. That doesn't make up for it being nearly 2 years late (I will never forget nor forgive that), but it is a top notch port.

Excellent port of a really good game. This was my voted goty for last year and I totally stand by that.

Judging by the comments here, it seems the Linux version is stable enough for me to start the game. I was a bit hesitant when the first official Linux version came out and kept waiting for a new patch to land and fix any bugs..
I guess it's time then ;)

A very fine game indeed. After finishing KOTOR 2, I will resume my already ~30h DOS play through.
Many kudos to Larian Studios.

How's it run?
Haven't had time to look at it, but my first guess would be a library problem, so LD_LIBRARY might help.
