Interstellar Marines was a seriously promising FPS game that would have single player, co-op play and online versus multiplayer. Sadly, they have had to let staff go and rely on interns right now as they seek more funding. Those interns are only with them for a few months too, so the outlook is not good right now.

QuoteNo news yet on our search for a publisher. Work on U25 is still underway and we should have it out by the end of the month.

And an earlier post here with a video explaining how their coders had been let go.

It has been ~3 months since their last new update, and the update currently dated for the end of this month will only have one major new feature: skins to unlock.

Unlocks are a nice feature that push gamers to play more, but it's far too little, too late.

Sad times, but my opinion on it is that they lacked any clear direction. For a game that many were excited about for the singleplayer and co-operative play, they focused too heavily on online versus multiplayer. Not just that, but their "Hell Week" multiplayer forced you to wait on timers to get into a game, and that is a bad move for an already small community.

I've removed it from our Steam Curator page, as I have serious doubts it will ever be in a decent state.

I wish them the best, but I think they need a clearer vision. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Have played a reasonable amount of this and it is fairly good, it really does have a lot of potential if they could only finish it! Will have to purchase a couple of copies for friends.
