It's a game that utterly filled my twitter feed with love when it came out, and I was quite jealous we didn't get to experience it. Seems we now get to experience it in fully released glory with all episodes.

About the game
Life Is Strange is a five part episodic game that sets out to revolutionise story based choice and consequence games by allowing the player to rewind time and affect the past, present and future.
You are Max, a photography senior who saves her old friend Chloe by discovering she can rewind time. The pair soon find themselves exposed to the darker side of Arcadia Bay as they uncover the disturbing truth behind the sudden disappearance of a fellow student.

I have already picked this up but I would happily buy another copy if it came to Linux. Furthermore it would be awesome because it would mean future games from DontNod may be Linux bound. Vampyr is looking great.

I played the game under WINE, it works very well (it's an Unreal 3 game). Overall the game is not that great, my vote is 6/10.
Story is filled with cliches, ambiental interaction is near zero, you'll move into corridors and on rails, the story development is very slow. Some good characterization here and there, but nothing memorable. I was so bored I don't played the fifth episode (the game anyway ends at fourth episode).
I suggest you to buy it when on sale.

Don't buy on rumour. Besides, any time a new platform is launched, in my experience they tend to run it via sale anyway.

Precisely I was about to buy it yesterday. But I didn't.
I booted to windows to try the demo, and windows 10 crashed (BSOD).
Well I didn't booted up windows on the last 2 months.
I will wait until it has linux release.

They talked about their non-crossplatform middleware, so I suspect it will be an eON port. Not that it's bad or anything but it matters for some.

Cool! I won episode 1 on steamgifts, but I haven't played it yet. I guess I'll hold off playing it until we see if it actually comes to Linux. If so, I'll gladly pick up the rest.

I'm kind of excited about this. I remember seeing it for my sister's Xbox One and thought it was cool. Would be nice to have it on Linux.
