We gathered that Life Is Strange is coming to Linux from all the recent SteamDB activity, but it looks like Feral Interactive are the ones behind it.
Looking at this change on SteamDB shows clearly who is doing it (I know it's for Mac, but Linux & Mac port hints popped up at the same time on SteamDB):

I know some ports like BioShock Infinite have been ported to Mac/Linux by different people, but that was an unusual case.
We also have the fact that Feral Interactive are announcing/possibly releasing something soon going by their recent twitter teaser. Feral Interactive also have the newer upcoming port radar entry too.
Exciting!

That would be awesome, Feral always do a nice porting job, and this game deserves a native port.
If this happen I'll instantly buy it.

If it comes as a native port, I will try it.Feral doesn't make wrapped "ports", they always go full native.
I know, but it left me with a small portion of doubt that it was from the Mac depot and that Feral sometimes does Mac only. But... everything is going to be alright! :)

This would be great news - been tracking this for months and had largely given up hope of buying it. Can't wait!

I played thru half of it on Windows, using a 360 gamepad. I was enjoying it. Now can finish it on Linux :P

What would be interesting is if they just port code the ue3 project base to ue4 - that would probably save a lot of pain :)
