Note: Feral incorrectly listed an AMD 5770 as the minimum, it's actually a 2GB AMD R7 260X (Driver version MESA 11.2) needed as a minimum AMD GPU.
Feral Interactive have started the week by increasing the hype for the Linux release of Tomb Raider. They have now released the system requirements!
Their wording at the bottom of this news post has me excited, as they state:
Very much looking forward to completing this one on Linux. It's likely I will livestream it on the release day.
As for the specifications needed:
Minimum
OS Ubuntu 14.04 or SteamOS 2.0 (64-bit)
Processor Intel i3 or AMD FX-6300
RAM 4GB
Graphics card 1GB
NVIDIA GeForce 640 (driver version 364.12) or 2GB AMD R7 260X (Driver version MESA 11.2)
Recommended

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: nIQnutnIt must be a joke, 364.12 is in BETA.
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/100577/en-us
Arch is already on 364.16.
But I can't figure out, if this is Beta or not. The latest version, I can find, is 364.15 (beta).

They decided to use the 364 version because something good is about to happen (or at least a new pattern) with the new drivers, it's like the problem of floating head in Shadow Of Mordor, they needed to fix the bug to work in new driver, and with the patch I had no regression, in fact it is working better than before.

364.16 is the vulkan beta
* Nvidia added initial experimental vulkan support in some 355 drivers.
* Later they started the 364 linux beta branch, the first of which being 364.12 with vulkan, mir/wayland and kms support.
* Then they updated the beta driver to 364.15 which fixed some bugs.
* Finally they released a vulkan specific update to 364; 364.16...
* To make things more confusing, in that time they also released 361.42 in the stable 361 branch to fix some bugs!
* Even worse there is also a "short lived branch"; 358.16.
So to summarise there are three (main) nvidia drivers currently; 361.42 for "stable/361", 364.15 for "beta/364" and 364.16 for "vulkan-specific-beta/364". You could also use the "Short Lived Branch," currently 358.16.
Take your pick!

Those requirements tells me that this release will NOT be a NATIVE Linux port, just a windows wrapped game.

Feral does "real" ports, but that doesn't automatically mean performance parity.

Go Linux! I'm super happy that we're finally getting a decent flow of AAA games to our machines. I'm excited for this game!
