Virtual Programming have released their latest Linux ports, and today we are graced with the crazy Saints Row 2 & Saints Row: The Third. They are also now on sale.
I am looking forward to seeing how they run, but as we get no keys or advanced access from Virtual Programming you guys will have to wait a bit before I can do a more in depth post on them both. I have requested keys from VP, so hopefully they will be able to provide me with some.
Update: Purchased them myself as there's now a sale on.
Their work has been impressing me lately, so hopefully it will continue the trend of great ports. Hopefully they ironed out some of the stutter from their previous Saints Row ports.
Both open world games, full of over the top action and general craziness.
Let me know in the comments how it works for you!

Quoting: RichieEBCan't wait, saints row 2 was my personal favourite.
Yup agreed, that's the best of them. Although I do think sr4 was pretty fun too.

The specs seem pretty high for such an old game. Anyone who has bought it do us all a favor and post some numbers. Was thinking about buying this for my laptop, but now I'm not so sure.

How come the 'complete' collection is shown as only being available for Windows even though it only contains the games which are individually available for linux?

AW YISS! I already own both games. I'm curious how SR2 will perform, given how horrific the Windows port was. Hopefully it's at least up to the level of the Windows port after all the fixes. Hopefully mods work. The Gentlemen of the Row mod is amazing.
