Show us your gaming desk setup, here's ours

By -
Today I thought it would be fun to show you what myself and Samsai have setup for our desks and gaming setups, and see what yours are too.

Myself
Here is my little bit of heaven, what I regularly use for all GOL work and livestreaming
image
Proudly still using my Linux Voice mug.

The corner when my desk sits is also quite dark, I really do need to look into a lamp as it's hurting my eyes more and more.

I'm starting to feel like my desk just isn't big enough. The pull-out tray for my keyboard and mouse certainly isn't, and I don't want them on the top of the desk as it's too high and would take up too much room. Looks like in a few months I will need to look into my desk situation again. This desk also isn't big enough to host my tower unit, as it's rather large.

Then there's also my Steam Machine situation
image
I do need a smaller case for my Steam Machine, but it also hosts other systems so it has a number of hard drives in it, plus the size of the Nvidia 970 inside has been a problem.

Samsai
Here is the setup Samsai uses for his weekly GOL livestream, articles and GOL Cast videos. The Coca Cola glass is an integral part of the setup.

Sobkas
Sobkas who usually does our Wine posts, some excellent Penguin graphics for us and more.

Quoting: Stupendous ManI see many of you guys have (music) keyboards; what software do you use them with? I've had nothing but bad experience with Midi keyboards and Linux.

FL Studio in wine with wineasio and JACK... works fine

Really like Renoise also but my brain just cant keep up with the vertical pattern/playlist editor

Quoting: 5had0w5talk3rLuckily, I have somewhat up-to-date pictures of my setup on imgur, so I threw together an album with some of them.

If you just want a picture of my desk, here it is:
Apart from the fact I do love your beautiful (I love minimalistic styles) setup I wonder where you got that glowing Arch Linux key cap from? I know it's possible to buy custom cherry mx switches - I didn't know it's possible to get transparrent ones.

My desktop, complete with the baby messing around with the printer... She spends her time switching it ON/OFF and deploying the paper tray.

My ASUS M51AC
System Specs :
Core i7 4770S
16 Gb of RAM (Kingston)
128 Gb Samsung Pro Series SSD
3 Gb Toshiba HDD
ASUS GTX 660 DirectCU II
Running Fedora 23

The GPU is most likely to be my next upgrade... I'm also tempted to get an ASUS Xonar DX soundcard (and perhaps a pair of Audioengine A2's...)

Finally this is the computer that's plugged into my TV, and his girlfriend the Wii which fulfills my JRPG/VS fighting/platforming needs. This rig is a Phenom 2 X4 955 with 4Gb of RAM and a passive GT 620 (all ASUS as usual...)

Quoting: Spl-itI especially like the fact that my keyboard has no Windows buttons
Same. :P
Me, I have an IBM Model M, build in 1987.

I'm using Sun Type 5 with Unix layout:

I tried finding something more ergonomic, but there are virtually no other keyboards with Unix layout these days, Happy Hacking one is too minimalist to my taste.

It's been a long time since I've seen a chair like the one on the right there. Maybe as much as 25 years. Where did you get it?
