Interesting idea for a game, developers Destructive Creations who created Hatred have now decided to let you take on the terrorist ISIS group as a NATO machine gunner.

They say it's a small side-project game and their "personal veto against what is happening in the Middle East nowadays" (their words).

A game where I can blow a load of terrorists up? Sure why not. I wouldn't take this game too seriously though, it's just an over the top action game really.

Could we keep the islamophobia (and other prejudice) off GOL please? IS does not represent the Islamic faith. It's just a bunch of loonies and brainwashed youngsters using an extreme version of their religion as an excuse for murder and mayhem, just like others have done before in the name of other faiths and ideologies, Christians included.

It's just a game folks. No worse than all the Call of Duty and such games showing one country invading another and the list goes on.
Storminator16 Apr 21, 2016
The social commentary in this thread is ridiculous. It's just a game.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyNATO? Shooting at ISIS? Kind of unrealistic. Shouldn't it be either the Syrian Army, Russians, or maybe Hezbollah, manning that machine gun?
Maybe there should be a NATO espionage game about carefully siphoning weapons, money and trainers to ISIS.

If IS manages indeed to reach the borders of Europe it means they have already overran the Syrian Army and Hezbollah. So, yes, it would be NATO shooting IS.

And it's called IS, not ISIS, hence the game's title.
That's the point, daesh will NEVER reach the borders of Europe, they are just mercenaries paid by Saudi Arabia and Qatar and supported by Turkey, Ukraine, Israel and NATO. Their only mission is a government change in Syria, it's imperialism.

That is rubbish! Unkraine has its hands full, some individuals may be fighting with Daesh, but the same can be said for Russians, Germans, French, Tunisians and so on. Israel is turning a blind eye towards Al-Nusra, using them to destabilize the hated Syrian government. That's their national interest, a weakened Syria won't support Hezbollah in Lebanon. NATO is bombing only Daesh, but supporting the Kurdish militias. Saudi Arabia _is_ fighting Daesh as well, the kingdom is well-aware of the risk they are facing, since Daesh is essentially Saudi Arabia without king (and oil). Qatar and Turkey are supporting Daesh, that much is true. They both believe this would enable them to become the new leading nation in the region.

Wait a moment... That's Netanyahu? The president of Israel? Yes, it is. What's the problem with that? :D
Where does it say that's a Yihadist?

PS: I know this is a gaming site and I am here primarily for information on gaming on my favourite platform, but I can't let such rubbish stand unanswered.
PPS: Many thanks to the author of the article, the game does sound like casual entertainment.

Yup, just like George Bush killed few hundred thousand Iraqis and caused the near total destruction of Iraq in the name of democracy!!

Quoting: garyzwThe West seems to cower in fear to ISIS. They can blow up our people, they can behead, slaughter them and the West's response is to lets not offend them they will stop, They will not stop until Islam rules the worlds. That means, no more Christian, no more atheists, no Buddhist. All will have to convert to Islam. That is what is coming unless they are stopped.

Ah, so you drank the propaganda kool-aid too, huh? If you really look at the numbers, almost all the people they kill are Muslims. Doesn't that strike you as odd? If they're trying to take over the western world and make you Muslim, they're doing a horrible job of it, and you have nothing to fear. ISIS, IS, ISIL, I-POD, whatever you want to call them is just the latest boogeyman western countries are using to spread FUD. They are really an insignificant group with a small following in the big scheme of things. We're not talking about a nation of hundreds of millions of people.

game is fun but, currently has issues if you play with more than 1 monitor. Sometimes the mouse gets stuck or falls off the game and makes it hard to shoot.
