While I can never really get into Football Manager games, Motorsport Manager is certainly something I could get into! Would love to take control of an F1 team.
The trailer above shows off a Linux icon at the end and the new Steam store page for it already has a section ready for Linux/SteamOS system requirements. It also has Linux in the "oslist" of supported platforms looking at the SteamDB page for it.
If you want further confirmation, how about directly from the source?
Time for our big reveal... an all-new Motorsport Manager will be coming to PC, Mac & Linux! https://t.co/tXL9MFp0El pic.twitter.com/trJa5mCPoE

Looks like this is a sure thing for us. This has me really excited!
It actually reminds me of the Amiga game I played when I was younger called "Formula One Challenge".
About the game (From Steam)
Have you got what it takes to become the manager of a high-performance motorsport team?
Motorsport Manager is a highly detailed, best-in-class management game for fans of motorsport. You’ll hire the drivers, build the cars and embed yourself in the dynamic world of racing.
Every single detail will need to be considered in order to push your way to the championship title. Split second decisions on the race track combine with carefully laid pre-race plans; everything from building and customising your car to race-day tactics will affect your path to either ultimate victory or epic failure.
Stop watching, start winning and take control as the manager of your own motorsport team.
I do hope they port over some of these games at some point, it is great to see a big publisher with games on the Linux platform, so I do hope linux keeps looking viable and they do focus more on getting games on to the Linux platform.
Quoting: ChloeWolfieGirlWhat SEGA's currently ported to Linux aren't really my type of games, but I strongly hope they continue because they have a massive catalogue of games that I do love, Sonic, Valkyria Chronicles, Jet set radio, typing of the dead, Nights into dreams, Binary Domain, crazy taxi, phantasy star, Anarchy reigns, Hatsune Miku, Vanquish, the list goes on and on.
Phantasy Star would be great! I think the great Japanese RPGs are lacking in Linux.
since i never cared about football(soccer) i havent tried those managers.
but F1 is what i like so a manager to manage your own team sounds pretty nice.
Back in 2000, EA released F1 Mananger, which I enjoyed for a little while, but it got old quicker than I though. Hopefully, this one will be much better, especially since Sega has a bad habit of not giving such awesome discounts and pulling its manager games as soon as they release a new version.
