Originally launched on Linux in 2013 on IndieGameStand, Soulcaster: Part I & II are coming together as a bundle on Steam.

Don't be put off by the retro graphical style, as the games are actually quite good. I haven't put too much time into them, but what I did try of them had me hooked for a while.

Due sometime this month! It's from the same developer who gave us Escape Goat which I quite liked.

About the games (Official)
Soulcaster is a tactical action-RPG where you ommand epic heroes by summoning them to strategic positions. Use quick reflexes and strategy to fight through hordes of monsters, discover secrets, collect treasure and buy upgrades for your allies. Only you, Soulcaster can restore peace to the land!

Oh Liam, you forgot to provide a link to the best trailer ever made!!

I got Soulcaster I+II two years ago in a Humble Daily Bundle, finished them and pretty enjoyed both games. Simple and entertaining. Glad they finally find a way to get a steam release.
