It's Sunday, I'm extremely tired after a long day and I've been coding away at the new PC Specifications feature for user profiles so I don't really have time to post up news articles tonight (it's getting late). So I ask you: What are you playing, and what do you think?
I've been playing Stellaris, and you will know what I think about it tomorrow! I've already sunk 5.3 hours into it according to Steam, blimey!
Apart from that I have been enjoying Tomb Raider up to the last fire-fight I was in where sadly the framerate went really bad and it became a struggle. I don't really want to play any more right now until they put out some form of performance patch as that last bit I did sadly soured it for me.
As for random news, we are aware the new Doom has been shown off running on Vulkan, I'm not going to give it a news article since it's not coming to Linux and really doesn't mean anything for us directly (you can stop sending it in now :P)

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I haven't really had much time for games, but I did manage to play through Human Resource Machine and get most of the optional optimization goals as well. I'll have to take a break before doing the rest as I started dreaming of code and solutions, and waking up I feel like I've been working instead of sleeping. Happened to me with TIS-100 as well...
HRM is definitely easier than the Zachtronics stuff even if the tablet-optimized interface fights you a bit and the "story" turned out to be more like just a bit of context. It can literally be told in a sentence or two. These niggles notwithstanding, it's an excellent puzzler.

Victor Vran and Shadow Warrior think of playing Tomb Rider later on after it gets patched.

I had to get Tomb Raider refunded because it just segfaults on my PC. :(
On Linux I've been playing Don't Starve Together, Stardew Valley and Clannad (those last two using wine).
On PS4 I've been playing Final Fantasy X and Fallout 4.

I just finished SOMA which was an awesome experience. Such a deep(!) game.
I'm now playing Pillars of Eternity again, this time on Path of the Damned and Expert Mode (highest difficulty). It's fun!
I was going to get Tomb Raider, but decided to wait due to the bad performance you people are reporting.
I'm now looking at Duskers, this is probably the next game I'll get when it's fully released this month. Until then, more Pillars of Eternity!

League Of Legends mostly, also waiting for Tomb Raider patches, played for 6 hours at least, but don't really enjoy those 7 fps places :(

Towerfall Ascension plus the Dark World expansion
I absolutely love this game for the its light weight and the amount of fun my friends and I have playing it.
HammerWatch
Also fun but can be incredibly tedious if not downright frustrating with the amount of mobs and the size of the mobs that exist on certain floors in the campaigns.

I just finished my first play through of Divinity: Original Sin, 91 hours! have gotten my moneys worth out of that one :)
Having a look at the latest update to 7 days to die currently, the brightness seems bad on this build, but its still a whole lot of fun. I haven't been able to join multiplayer servers on Linux though, which is something I was looking forward to checking out. A problem with anti-cheat I think.

Recently I've been playing mostly on PS4 - Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (sorry Feral, bought few days before it was announced on Linux, still wait for performance patch to buy it for Linux) and Naughty Dog games that are PS4 exclusives: Uncharted 2 (from the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection) and the Last of Us Remastered.
On my Linux PC I've been playing Knights and Merchants (48 hours on the record), but I'm stuck on mission 14. Will have to give it a 4th try :D.

- Alien Isolation: still struggling to survive through this horrible experience (but so addictive). Several months later I'm still not even halfway through.
- Saints Row 2: I'm having fun collecting and tuning cars, creating hellish mess on the highway shooting truck drivers in the head. Not playing through the story yet.
- Sword Coast Legends: just bought it this weekend. I had a hard time running it, as it needs some trick to run on non-English speaking systems. I'm not into all the fuss around the game not using strict D&D rules, and as a matter of fact I pretty much dig the way combats are handled. I only started playing through the first chapter and I love it.
[Edit] I've also been playing some Tomb Raider. While performance is acceptable for me, it's the playability with Steam Controller that annoys me. Indeed, controller input stops working as soon as the mouse is moving, so you can't fully use the Steam Controller's features. Using the track pad as a joystick is not an option for me.
