Open up those wallets, as the Steam Summer Sale is now upon us. Already some cracking deals to be found.

Steam will be up and down constantly, as always it is struggling with the demand.

Here's some choice picks for you of my own!

Hardware
Steam Link - 30% off
Steam Controller - 30% off

Games
Amnesia: The Dark Descent - 80% off
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare - 85% off
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - 75% off
Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition - 50% off
XCOM 2 - 40% off
Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition - 50% off

Keep an eye on our Sales Page to help with it. This page is currently being revamped to help with issues it has at the moment, but that won't be finished for weeks yet.

What will you be picking up? There's not all that much I want right now that I don't already own, sadly. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Anyone know if Shadows of Mordor will work well with a GeForce GTX 950?
Inspector_Gidget 23 Jun 2016

Time for me to buy XCOM 2 I guess.

I suppose so. I've been playing it in my i3, 4 GB, GTX 650 Ti machine on low-medium settings and 30 fps.

No daily deals again :(

EDIT: and all of the games on my wishlist either have rubbish deals or aren't out on Linux... That sucks.

19 entries on my wishlist, every one of them has some sort of discount.. Mostly thinking of getting the EU4 collection (tho I already have the base game, I'm interested in a few of the DLC's, might as well get the entire package) and/or Tomb Raider.

I have not been able to access the Steam store yet. I guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow. :(

So Stellaris and Master of Orion cost the same now. :D

Which one to get? oO

I managed to get the XCOM2 Deluxe for sale from another site (kinguin) for $35usd so I guess my impatience didn't bite me in the ass this time!

Think its time to buy portal series at 83% off :)

Stellaris has more content and is not dumbed down space RTS. MOO is pretty dumbed down version which a monkey should be able to handle, they even removed secondary races from the game recently so you don't haft to think about that.

And so it begins, with an overloaded Steam Store *sigh*

But doesn't look to good for the games on my wishlist. Same discount as before :/

Tomb Raider is -75% too, if you hestitated with supporting Feral, you can do so while saving some money ;)

Ah right! I will go with Stellaris then. Strategy games can't be detailed enough for me. Thanks! :D

It really, really, irritates me that basically every game Steam suggests to me in my queue is a Windows game.

Generally it's not a great idea to buy from resellers like Kinguin and G2A for a number of issues outlines in [a](https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/on-preorders-and-other-nasty-buying-habits.5991/page=3) couple [editorials](https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/buy-games-from-g2a-you-should-just-stop-already-tinybuild-lost-out-on-approx-450k-of-sales.7468) here. See also: [google](http://www.google.com/search?q=g2a+kinguin+grey+market)

Mainly the money likely doesn't go anywhere near the dev, and almost certainly never goes to the porting house. There is also the question of whether the codes were legally obtained in the first place.
dmantione 23 Jun 2016
I believe many game developers just look at quantities rather than turnover (allthough that is not very smart). Therefore buying 5 games in a sale counts much harder in statistics than buying 1 game outside a sale.

So people, let's influence those statistics :)
dmantione 23 Jun 2016
It really, really, irritates me that basically every game Steam suggests to me in my queue is a Windows game.

It does that if you have configured Steam to show Windows games on the front page. If you tell it to show only Linux games, your queue will also contain only Linux games.
morbius 23 Jun 2016
I'm getting Tomb Raider and Shadowrun: Hong Kong, that much is a given. But what else? Should I go for Oxenfree, as it looks like Kentacky Route Zero will never be under 10 euros (screw those guys). Or go with Life is Strange and then prey that it actually comes to Linux?
