Planetary Annihilation: TITANS has been updated with a rather large patch that brings in a number of new goodies. There were a number of test releases, but they have all come together for an official stable patch.

The major new feature is a built-in mod manager. You can easily search and install mods like the Legion Expansion.

Also extremely useful is the "4K GUI Scale" mod, which enables you to scale the interface to much bigger sizes. Both this and the Legion mod amongst many others are now a one-click install which is fantastic.

My main issue with PA: TITANS is performance on a 4K monitor as they have none of the normal resolution options. They do have a scaling option, which set to 50% (the lowest) makes it quite playable, but it does reduce the quality somewhat. Better than nothing I suppose and that coupled with the GUI Mod make able to enjoy the game once again.

On top of the new mod manager, the big patch also adds a ton of new options for modders, lots of polishing and bug fixes.

See the full patch notes here, it's a big one.

Overall, this is probably one of the best updates the game has ever had. Really pleased it's still being supported like this. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
