Paypal has once again sent out early word about the Steam Summer Sale, they said it will start on June 23rd.

It’s official: the @Steam_games sale starts 23rd June. https://t.co/6EdbWFScCW

A week to go, is your wallet ready?

This isn't official, but Paypal have been correct about it before. Strange that such things can leak out this easily though. Valve will likely stay quiet on it as usual until it actually happens.

Already filled my wishlist with a lot of games that I want to buy but probably end up not playing xD. There are just too many games available for Linux compared to even a couple years ago. It's a great problem to have though.

PS: My wallet will be ready. Well, actually I don't use a wallet but you get what I mean.

The information about the steam summer sale leaked already a while ago, as a dev or publisher didn't care about Valve's NDA :-/

Yes, but that was a leak. This is official confirmation.

I plan on filling out some of the DLC I've been wanting to get for my Paradox collection, and maybe the Atari Vault if it's discounted. I probably won't be buying any new games simply because I don't have time to play the ones I already have -- although my wife would disagree (Pro tip: Never let your significant other see the "hours played" in your Steam library!).

I got fifty titles on my wish list. FIFTY. Crazy.

Some of them are titles I wait for a Linux version of, but still...!

I'm hoping for a big discount on one of the bigger and more expensive titles I've had on my wishlist for quite some time now. Thinking of The Talos Principle, Shadow of Mordor, Pillars of Eternity, Divinity: Original Sin, maybe Saints Row IV / GooH or American Truck Simulator. I'd like to score at least one of them. If not, I'm determined to get at least a couple of the cheaper games off my wishlist.

EDIT:
Quoting: BeamboomI got fifty titles on my wish list. FIFTY. Crazy.
Hah, fifty is not crazy. My list's at 68, Down from about 80 as I just cleaned it up a bit a few days ago. More sad than crazy... :'(

Makes sense, GOG summer sales finish the 22nd.
UnoriginalTitle Jun 16, 2016
My GOG wishlist has 81. The Humble Bundle list has 69, and Steam has 24 on my wishlist. That's 174 games!

Not sure I like this summer sales. I already have 282 Linux games in steam, to much to play already. But somehow the collector gene is strong in me, hope I can resist and don't buy to much :)

At the moment, the game on top of my wish list (Stars Beyond Reach) is not released yet. Then there is this one, Harvest: Massive Encounter, but I'm not sure it will run on my screen without tweaking around with xrandr.

This would be interesting too Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide, but the discount must high. €30,- for this DLC is to much I think.

Haha ok thanks UnoriginalTitle and tuubi - now I feel more normal. :)
