Well yeah, GOG Galaxy doesn't even support Linux yet.

I really wish they would get the backsides into gear and release galaxy for linux already; or even a small update on progress would be appreciatd at this point in time

I know GOG Galaxy does not support Linux, however system shock 2 does on steam.

Be careful if you want Dreamfall: Chapters. If you spend enough to get 30000 XP you get it from free. I was about to buy it straight away when I realized that buy buying the other games I wanted first I would get it free.

Did GOG drop the linux client of GOG Universe? It's not listed as "Coming soon to Linux" under "Downloads"... :(

If you're referring to GOG Galaxy, we have not had a Linux version to begin with :)

9. Will you release a Linux version of GOG Galaxy?
A Linux version of our client is planned eventually, but we don't have an expected release date right now. Stay tuned for future announcements!

From our FAQ https://www.gog.com/galaxy

That's what I know! But when you clicked on "Download" it was advertised as "Coming to Linux soon!" - now that information is gone.

PS: Yes, GOG Galaxy.

Ah, it says on the main page under the Windows link: GOG Galaxy Client requires Windows 7 or newer. Also available for Mac OS X and soon for Linux.

I am not sure where you saw this "Download" then "Coming to Linux soon!" unless you are referring to a very, very early version of GOG Galaxy when it was in the alpha stage and may have been known as the GOG Launcher. Did you see this link in your library some time ago?

Just got X-wing collection, Forgotten Realms collection 1, planescape: torment and psychonauts.
That should keep me going for a few hours :)

GOG's definition of “soon” is pretty weird.

No weirder than Valve's. :)

Iv talk to the support about this, and the answer I got was:
Hello, our Galaxy development team is still working on developing the client - on Windows and MacOSX it's still in beta, and the Linux version is still in development, but we don't want to rush things and release something completely unstable. I apologise for your wait, unfortunately I am unable to disclose any details before any proper announcement, but please be patient.

------------

I can personaly respect devs taking there time and not rush things, but I also would like to have some kinde of statement from the devs.
And I really want to get some games on this sale, but I also could wait from games like Hotline Miami to come to gog connect, victor vran looks intressting tho.

Great sales! Picked up Eye of the Beholder I to III, Agatha Christie - The ABC Murders (still think it's one of her best stories), X Rebirth and Anno 1701 (Anno 1404 already works great with wine, so 1701 shouldn't give any trouble either).
TheRiddick Jun 8, 2016
Picked up X Rebirth for 75% off, will wait for expansions to go on sale also.

GOG has Linux as a platform option on their website. Thats good enough for now, the galaxy app is still in beta.

Day 1 I picked up Lords of Xulima, Hotline Miami 2, Victor Vran (had it on Steam but wanted DRM free) and This War of Mine. Got Dreamfall Chapters for free thanks to all that.

Don't forget to refresh your GOG connect - it won't happen automatically.
