A developer of Titan Quest commented on their Steam page that they will be looking into Linux and Mac support. Great news, as another positively received RPG would be great for us.

Speaking on this announcement, a developer commented (the same developer who created that announcement if you need proof):
QuoteWe will certainly look into a Mac and Linux port.

Never played the Titan Quest games myself, but they do seem to be rather popular. The name rings a bell though, am I missing something big with this one? Tell me how silly I am for not knowing in the comments.

That would be sweet. Still have my Windows copy somewhere but didn't play it too much because I was more a Sacred (2) fan.

Some people say that Titan Quest is the better Diablo so we are going to get yet another great game. Unless the statement is nothing more than hot PR air.

Edit: It's also the same developer that ported Painkiller HD to Linux and was/is porting Darksiders 2 to Linux, and we know what happened with the Darksiders 2 port, nothing.

I've played Titan Quest with cousin. Looking forward for that :)

Sweet. Will be a guaranteed buy for me. With the sole (and sore) exception of Bethesda, RPG devs seem to be very Linux friendly these days. I like that! :)

I would definitely buy it if it is ported over.

I've had this in my Steam library for years when I bought it for Windows, and I always thought it was just OK. It's a typical Diablo-clone in that it's inherently fun but not as good as the Diablo games.

Didn't expect that one coming. Love this game, played it a lot back in the day. Will be looking forward to a Linux port, thou I thought it was abandoned long ago.

Titan Quest was great because of the dual class system, the fresh mythology for computer action rpgs and the LAN option for endless co-op fun.

Olden but golden.

Hmm.. I think I remember this game when I Was a young padawan, it was quite hard and had to play for days.
So I have downloaded a trainer and have finished that game with GOD MODE Cheats
Even with cheats it took a long time to finish it ...
