This is kinda of amusing in a weird way, in XCavalypse you're cleaning up a city after a zombie apocalypse with a fleet of excavators.

It has just recently added in Linux and VR support.

I'm going to be honest, I thought nothing of it until I saw the video they posted on their Steam page and it actually looks quite hilarious:

It almost makes me want a Vive VR headset, almost. They need to hurry up with their Linux support.

It's in Early Access, so it will have bugs and incomplete features.

About the game
Months after a zombie apocalypse, a displaced group of survivors have come to the task to take back the city in an unconventional way, not with machetes and shotguns, but with a fleet of excavators!

After a brief introduction to excavators you'll be in control of a powerful machine to do the dirty work of cleaning up the city, however you'll need to get there first, making your way into the city, destroying barricades, demolishing buildings. The task isn't easy but it has to be done.

Aww, I thought it would be about actually cleaning up the city afterwards, maybe learning about the event in the process like the topic led me to believe/hope, not repetitive zombie-slaughter with heavy machinery. This could have been an interesting and innovative mix of exploration and excavator simulation. Of course I wouldn't have minded if there was some aftermath-related action involved, like a bit of running from zombie stragglers, but this is just... meh.

Ooooooo. Splat. A nice entry into the genre. And an original one, so points for that. On the watchlist it goes!!!

ADDENDUM: $1.19? Forget the watchlist, it's in the library. Good find Liam!

Same. I thought it was going to be in the same vein as Viscera Cleanup Detail where the player is tasked with cleaning the aftermath of other game genre's battles.
