The new Humble 2K Bundle 2 has a couple Linux games you may be interested in picking up for cheap, all good ones too.
Linux supported
Spec Ops: The Line - ported by VP
Sid Meier's Civilization V - ported by Aspyr Media
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel - ported by Aspyr Media
You also get a massive 40% off XCOM 2 when you buy the bundle, so that makes it pretty damn worth it in my opinion.
I own all of them and like them all, so I think this is actually a pretty sweet bundle if there's a few you still need to own.

Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
I know is not for Linux, but anyone of you ever played the Battleborn single player campaign? Is even remotely similar with what we have on Borderlands?

Quoting: liamdaweOK, I wanted to make sure. I watched a bunch of gameplays and was not really impressed by what I saw.Quoting: dubigrasuI know is not for Linux, but anyone of you ever played the Battleborn single player campaign? I was very interested in Mafia II that should run great on wine but couldn't care less about nba2k16 and i already own CivV.
As for the top tier, Borderlands is on my wishlist, but I have absolutely no interest in Battleborn because I won't be able to play it soon (unless a native port coming or Wine d3dx11 improvements).
I will probably buy the 1€ tier next week unless they add something special
ps. great bundle from Humble Bundle after a good amount of not so interesting bundles

Ok, I hear Spec-Ops: The Line has an amazing story, but "passable" gameplay.
As I _already know the story_ (every critic raving about it for years) is it worth getting?
I know it's only a dollar (I've already played The Pre-Sequel and I'm rubbish at Civ), but... it's my dollar.

Yeah, 2K aren't exactly known for DRM-free releases. I'm still waiting for Bioshock games to come out on GOG. Too bad, since I've heard that Bioshock Infinite is a decent game (and Linux version performs well).
I asked them about it here, but they didn't bother replying.

You have to pay more than the average ($8.42 at the moment) for Civ V and at least $15 for BL:tPS as well. Still worth it if you happen to like all of them I guess. Although I've played base Civ V and it really needs whichever DLC had the diplomacy stuff to be interesting IMHO.

Does MafiaII run perfectly fine with wine? I remember trying that with a CD Version some years ago with no success

When it was released I paid 3.99 Euro and it was best spent 3.99 Euro that year.
