While we already know that Life is Strange is coming to Linux from Feral, we don't know when, but we do now know that Life is Strange episode 1 will be free from tomorrow.
The interesting thing is that the developers of Life is Strange replied to a user asking about the Mac version here (that link should give you the comment you need at the top). In it they said:
It's already on the Mac App Store as they said, but why keep an eye on Feral tomorrow? Hopefully this will mean Linux too, but Feral do Mac releases as well, so who knows.

It's showing up in my Linux steam library now, too, but "missing installer".
That seems like it bodes well for a "very soon" Linux release.
