I'm not sure if this means both Overlord and Overlord 2 which VP is working on, as it only mentions Overlord, but they could mean both titles. It's a very cheap game, at only £3.99 on Steam right now with a very positive reception.

Since it's a rather old game, I'm sure VP's porting method is well suited to it.

Prepare to be tempted, mesmerized and thrilled, become the Overlord, how corrupt you become depends on how you handle any given situation. Your actions impact the game world. With incredible power at your disposal and a team of evil minded minions to do your evil bidding, how will you resist the temptation to be incredibly despotic? THINK EVIL, BREED EVIL, CONTROL ALL! There is a real lack of communication on VP on this one, the first one it has really been needed. If you buy it at deliver.com do you get a steam key? Will existing owners get it without repurchasing? How long will it be only at deliver.com. I own Overlord but not raising hell, I would buy it from deliver.com but I want to get a steam key. Also their site says all content delivered through deliver2mac client, but this is a Linux game. Some clarification would be nice of how this is supposed to work. I'll be contacting them for clarification.

Quoting: VPHi,

We are selling Overlord from Deliver2 only at the current time. There is no Steam key provided as it is a direct download. I cannot answer how long it will be only on Deliver2 site, that would be a decision for the sales team.

VP has two revenue streams when it ports games. If it is directly for the original publishers, the revenue is fixed and the publisher makes the decision where it is sold. However, some games are only available if VP covers all costs to bring the game to market, and unfortunately that can mean zero revenue for the version we make if it is sold on Steam. Steam do not split sku's and obviously we cannot release games for free.

The note regarding Deliver2Mac was an error on the site which should now be corrected.

The support page will now be updated also.

Regards.

Then,

Quoting: VPJust to confirm, we are going to make the game available on Steam shortly... we will make this announcement soon.

THAT is my kind of Linux port; DRMFREE and totally backed by the porter.
Take note, Eddie.

One more thing:
Is this port english only or multilanguage?
