REGoth Engine was pointed out in the forum, as it's another lovely open source reimplentation and this time it's for the classic game 'Gothic'.

Even though the main details all mention Gothic, it appears it's supposed to support Gothic II as well.

It even has a video to show it off, which looks like it's developed on Linux (Hi KDE)

It's so fun seeing actively developed open source game engines, hopefully we will see more and more as time goes on. Having older classic games on an open source multi-platform engine is just a win for everyone. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I also had issues compiling until I upgraded to gcc-6.1. In fact, the README has been updated to reflect the dependency.

Im having also problems compiling the code. When i compile it it stucks on 44% and i have to reboot.
Has somebody an idea ? //Well i was able to fix this myself but now i get 2 errors ( http://pastebin.com/2Ep8GfJs ).
