Such a great game! But you can't understand without trying it. If you like it, don't forget to buy its sibling Euro Truck Simulator 2. And Liam, the 1.25 open beta update of ETS2 is expected within 48 hours, yet you did not say anything about it. Here is your chance man!

Love this game. Good stuff in this update, though I'm more hyped for more states getting released in the future. It will probably be a really long time until they get my neck of the woods (Cackalacky) in the game, but it will be really cool once they do.

Liam, ATS is a great Game, but I can Talk about his brother, Euro Truck Simulador 2. You should try promods for ETS2. Promods is the best mod for this Game (high quality work) and adds a lot of New locations to the Game (Iceland, Romanía, Lituania, Eslovenia...). There are also a lot of rebuilded áreas like Germany, Poland, Belgium... The mod is completely compatible with OpenGL (Linux).

About AMS, I read in the SCS blog that they are modifying the size of the actual Maps to make the Game bigger

Last I tried ETS2 the Steam Controller still wasn't supported. Quite pathetic really...
(Apart from that it's a great game though).

Also a fan of ETS2/ATS with over 1000 hours logged. Amazing how the developer is still actively improving the game nearly 4 years after initial release (Oct 12, 2012)!

Upcoming game Fernbus Simulator could have been a great coach driving game in the same vein, but too bad no Linux version planned (yet?) :(

If you use sc-controller driver you can emulate xbox-360 controller +mouse. It works perfect to me.

It's a good game but the lack of any steam controller support really sucks. Would be so cool to use the gyro for wheel and the flux trigger for acceleration like I can do with F1 2015.

Do you read my last message in this thread? I can use my steam controller with ATS & ETS2 thanks to sc-controller. It's highly configurable and have a lot of improvements
