There's a rather large bit of info here on SteamDB, where you can see stuff like this:

Obviously no word on a release date and this is not confirmed anywhere. It's good supporting evidence though.
Reminder: We have seen Linux pop up on SteamDB before and a port never happened. Just something to keep in mind.
Exciting either way though, as the game is being very well reviewed all around from what I can see. I actually played and finished the one directly before this and loved it. You can bet I will play the crap out of it if/when it's released for us.

Feral is definitely doing this one (it's not in-house at SE). Without an announcement I'm sure they can't confirm or deny it however, and who knows when the actual release will be.
Anyway, two things: Human Revolution did run fine under Wine last time I tried it although that was ages ago and it's quite good. Surprisingly the Wii U version is really fun because of the GamePad. Probably my favorite version of the game. It's worth playing if you are willing to part with the cash for a Windows game.
The other thing is that reports of low performance in Mankind Divided seem a bit... overblown? There's a few key settings you can lower or disable with not much graphical difference that will drastically improve framerates. And the game itself seems to look great on the LOW preset.

Fantastic, Huge fan of the Deus Ex series, HR still ranks up there with fave games of all time and owned on my Steam Account (previous titles I own on GOG). If this happens they can count on my sale!

I only ever played the very first one, and that game was awesome. Every time I tried playing the sequels, I just couldn't get that deep into them. When they released the updated texture packs, my intention was to win the first, then try to go through all of them. But damned if I have the time! While I got really far into the first one, a friend beat it shortly before I could and ruined the ending for me. But now it's been so many years I've forgotten it, so I should be able to enjoy it!
Trailers to this one looked amazing, looking forward to hopefully playing it native on Linux! It's far more likely I'll win it that way, so many games I don't play because I don't want to reboot.

I would be damn tempted to buy this even without a DRM free version if it were to hit Linux. I'm a sucker for temptation so I say bring it on. No virtue without vice.

Won't begging or hoping for anything else and it would be a surprise this would be also released complete DRM-free. They could keep that software and I wonder as always so many here are "hoping this will happen". As always this will ruin freedom a little bit more on Linux and make another Windows / Mac out of it.

Judging but what I've read about the hardware requirements and the inefficient renderer, I guess a Linux port will be overly disappointing - performance wise.

That's why I'm hoping they wait on the DirectX 12 version and port to Vulkan (probably wishful thinking though). You're right. If the game requires 8 GB of RAM and an i3 for minimal performance and an i7 and 16 GB of RAM recommended, it might not run at all on most machines using Feral's "IndirectX" OpenGL translator thingamajig.

I already expected this. Not to publish for Linux and Mac means simply to lose money. It's maybe not a lot of money, but money is money. Such games are very expensive to develop. You want to issue as many copies as possible. Therefore I think big games like Deus Ex are still designed from the outset to be portable.
