All the best games are in the basic package, no reason for me to pay much.

Though if I had a girlfriend who played games, I'd definitely want Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.

Urgh. Thought this might be the reason for the Rocket League delays, but no dice (unless it's the unlock in a week...).

Galak-Z is excellent though, as is Nuclear Throne. Will likely be picking this up a couple of times for friends and family. Great bundle.

Other than to raise the Linux average and give money to a charity? ;)

Nice to see Super Time Force Ultra on Linux, thanks to Knockout Games. :) And this is the first time The Beginner's Guide has been available DRM free for Linux.

I for one can whole-heartedly recommend The Beginner's Guide. It's a weird one, but weird experimental narrative-focussed games are right up my alley. :)

This bundle is excellent and I bought it immediately for the following reasons:

- Games with Linux support? All.
- Games with DRM-Free option? All.
- Games with positive reviews? All (3 of them with overall 'overwhelmingly positive' reviews from Steam users).
- Games finished (no Early-Access state)? All.

Also, you can gift the Steam keys of games you already have. I'm not sure if this is common nowadays at Humble Bundle, but in previous years this wasn't possible, at least in the bundles I bought.

Let's hope they continue the trend with the games that still need to be revealed.

My daughter asked me to buy Octodad a while back, and I think she played it once. If you want my extra key, send me your Steam url.

It made my girlfriend who usually does not play games at all play some rounds with me.

Finally the Humble Indie Bundle goes back to the original spirit, I'll buy it!

Am I wrong, or "Super Time Force Ultra" does it's debut on Linux?

OT:
I have a spare key for "Not A Hero", "Shadow Warrior Special Edition" and "Outlast", PM me!

This looks like a good bundle, I shall pick it up once I'm done with work.

Great bundle, I paid above average, exciting to see what more I'll get! Yay for all linux!
Corben Aug 17, 2016
Also already picked it up. All tux, take my bucks!
I'm wondering about those games which are added later. Will they get their share from my payment, too? As I could already choose where my money went.
Kohrias Aug 17, 2016
This is a great bundle. I already owned quite a few of them but nonetheless picked it up (the full bundle).

Great job, humblebundle!

You can choose until the last day how to distribute the payment, you can also add more money to what already paid: so it's not done instantly and the percentages will vary.

OK, it's gone.

Guys what do you think about The Beginner's Guide? I'm curious about this one, not very much in the other games.
I'll wait to see what more come in "pay more than average" before buy, but probably I'll get this one.

I for one really like it. It's a narrative-focused game. It's weird, it's experimental, it's...meta.

Keep in mind, though, that it's rather short. I took like under 3h, IIRC. Some people even rushed through it in under 2h. And then gloated about how they refunded it...which I find rather shitty, to be honest.

Me, I don't mind the shorter length. Sure, long games are great too, but if the game manages to hit a point well (and make an emotional impact, no less) in a short amount of time, all the power to it. It's kinda like a well-drafted short story: condensed to make a single point. That's an art in and of itself, IMHO.

And just like a good short story, I found it to be a game to think about and engage with through discussions, reviews and analysis way after I finished it.

I also wonder that since forever. Logically since you get to decide who gets what, they shouldn’t get anything.

I don't think it makes any difference. Its just split somehow. If you want to support the game makers, just buy the game.
