It has been a long time coming, but the developers of The Flock have finally updated the game to include a beta version for Linux.

I wrote about the game some time ago, and it was then delayed. A shame, as I was really looking forward to playing it back then as it sounded rather unique.

It seems things have not been going well for the developer. I'm glad to see they are back and pushing out a new big version of the game.

You can find all the info on the beta here.

Interestingly, the main feature of the game the global limited lives counter has been dropped for now.

About the game
The Flock is an asymmetrical multiplayer thriller, where you get to play as one of the agile monsters that make up the Flock. Hunt down and attack the Carrier to take its place. Survive and fend off the terrifying Flock with the coveted Light Artifact .

Thanks for tweeting the beta to me TheLimeyDragon. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
