Dogma: Eternal Night was emailed in and I took a look as we still don't have many MMO games on Linux. It's looking quite interesting, but it seems it's in the early stages.

They recently put up a new video showing some more of it off too:

I have to say I think it looks pretty cool, the idea of being a vampire like that in an MMO would be pretty fun.

Their FAQ on the order page clearly lists Linux too:
QuoteA: Windows, Mac and Linux! Later, after the official launch of Dogma: Eternal Night, we plan to release the game on other consoles as well.

It's using Unity, so that's not really all that surprising. Hopefully they are actually testing the Linux builds though.

About the game
Dogma: Eternal Night is a game project being made by a team of enthusiasts, who want to create a new MMORPG with the atmosphere of modern gothic and horror. This new game will allow players to try on an image of vampires and other mythical creatures who live among the mortals. The development team was formed by roleplayers and gaming community members for the purpose of exercising their common dream.

The name of the project is a working title and might be changed before release.

It looks like they already raised $13,143.00 through their store and other methods, as their original Kickstarter failed.

I'm following them on Twitter now, so hopefully I can keep an eye on it for you.

Thanks for sending it in Maki. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

The greyest MMO so far? Perfect for the chromophobes among us.

Graphics are pretty basic right now. For something perpetually dark, it needs a better atmosphere. It's still early days though.

The thing that worries me more is that none if it is screaming "fun" at me. From the descriptions on the site it sounds more like a social media account than a game.

Wow - an mmorpg without a cookie-cutter fantasy theme? Stop the press! Colour me extremely interested!
From what little we do see it even reminded me of the legendary (single player) vampire themed RPG: Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines.

Never heard of it, but a game inspired by WoD / Vampire The Masquerade? I'm already interested.

Not only that, it doesn't even have the usual WoW-style infantile cartoon art either. oO

If it feels a bit like The Secret World, I am interested. I don't mind sword and board MMORPGs, but change is a good thing!

And you of course know about the failed MMORPG based on actual Vampire The Masquerade?

The only thing that remains from it is this trailer and demo video:

Nope didn't know about it!

The world needs a sequel to VtM:Bloodlines.

Sure, and I actually would prefer a single player game, rather than an MMORPG. Now that Paradox bought White Wolf, there is a chance something like this will come out. I also would be interested in game set in Dark Ages of WoD (not modern day, but medieval times and etc.). Like VtM Redemption.

I updated the trailer video above to better quality.

I'd prefer a single player game too. Man how fun it was, that game. The weird characters you encountered, the stories, the locations...
