It seems Homefront: The Revolution is still coming to Linux, as it has recently popped up on SteamDB. I've spoken to the developer and publisher a few times, who repeatedly stated the Linux version was not cancelled, so it looks like it was being worked on.

I was pretty excited about it before release, but the reviews really aren't all that good. I will do my usual thing and give it a properly honest look when it's available for us.
About the game
Homefront®: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.
A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight.
But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare – ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception – and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

The game looks pretty nice, if it gets a Linux release I'll insta buy it. The graphics look incredible and the open-world FPS idea seems really catches my attention, I just wonder how good the coop is.

the reviews are mixed but seems they patched a lot of bugs in the last patchs so we'll see if the game is worth it with the performances issues fixed.

Awesome! I really hope it turns out to be a decent port. I'm usually not much for first person shooters, but this game actually piqued my interest a while ago as it looks to be basically Far Cry, but in a (civil war-torn) city.
I'd kind of given up on the Linux version after the initial, mostly negative reception of the game; but the devs continue to support it on other platforms (apparently the Windows version recently got a 2.0 patch that fixed most performance issues and even adds a new type of anti-aliasing), so I guess it's not too unrealistic that they'd make true on their promised Linux support.

Here's hoping for Vulkan support by the time it drops for the penguin. I suppose that's more up to Crytek than Dambuster, though.

Thought CryEngine was far from a finished Linux support. Did I miss something?
Though, I'd love to get my hands on this one, even with the known flaws. Some games which were down rated due to flaws turned out to be really nice games (in my opinion). Sword Coast Legends would be one of them, Vendetta - Curse of Raven's Cry would be if the bug in Linux was fixed where you can't continue due to the main quest line failing. Nuclear Dawn is one of them - love that one, sadly the player base died.

CryEngine's Linux support went stable months ago. "Snow", another CE title, added Linux support some time ago (although it's not a great port, at least in my experience).
