Now is your chance to pick up a fantastic game for super cheap and support Feral Interactive and their porting. Company of Heroes 2 is 75% off on Steam right now for a few days.

You can see my previous thoughts on it in my review here.

I now have 37 hours in the game, every single minute played under Linux.

Hopefully today my weekly battles that are live-streamed against Matt from Feral will continue.

I cannot do RTS.
Anything with a build phase, is what it comes down to, I suppose.
Logistics. I suck at production, too.
Even if I can delegate, I choose wrong once and I lose interest, because it feels like a house of cards.

I'm good with acquisition, trading and crafting as an individual or group, but dealing with multiple locations, moving resources around AND doing combat...

My head hurts just thinking about it...

Even in something turn-based like HoMM or Civ I'm awful. I plateau and get flanked, or I'm at stoneworking and get stomped by ships with cannons...
This is on 'easy' btw.

I can't even tell when these games are good or not, they're so beyond me.

Not sure about it. I loved Coh 1, but i think about CoH 2 quite negatively because of all the DLC coming with. Should i change my mind ?

I would like to play Coh 1, still the best of the series.

Ok, I'll buy it when I get home. I really wanted something similar to Men of War (only played the first one) or just any kind of WW2 game since I haven't played one in years. I've been hearing good things about CoH2 and I'm really glad it works on Linux... and for this price how coud I not buy it?... :))

Well, as I already own it, I might buy some DLC instead. Some suggestions?

You can now get the whole thing together in the Master Collection for 13,74€. So you won't ever have to see it as a bunch of DLCs.

I'll get it now. Even if I don't really have time to actually play it, it don't mind getting something for the support.

Even if you don't plan to play until later, it likely won't get cheaper than this again this year.
