That's right GOG fans, you can now buy Super Time Force Ultra [GOG Link, Official Site] for Linux without any form of DRM. Lovely isn't it?

The game has been out for a while, so GOG is doing it's usual thing here of boosting their back catalogue of Linux games.

I have yet to give it a go, but my friends at GOG have supplied me with a copy so I will be checking it out soon.

About the game
Super Time Force Ultra is an action-packed platformer with a time-travelling twist! You’re in control of time itself, bending and stretching it to your advantage on the battlefield. Rewind time and choose when to jump back into the action, teaming-up with your past selves in a unique single-player co-op experience! Take control of up to 16 unique characters, and battle across 6 different time periods, from the long-ago past to the far-away future. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I found the game well made but the action is a bit too hectic for me. I played it for a bit over an hour before giving up. No regrets though as I got it in the recent Humble Indie Bundle. The Hexcells collection alone was worth the price.

Quoting: ShmerlInspired by Broforce?
I haven't played Broforce, but I imagine the humour and style might be similar. Gameplay mechanics seem different though, unless Broforce has time manipulation as a central gimmick as well.

According to google, Broforce was released after this. I did notice the similarities too.
