The release of Mad Max [Steam, Feral Interactive] for Linux is fast approaching this week (20th!) and Feral have now updated their website with the minimum and recommended system specifications.
System requirements
Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit / SteamOS 2.0
Minimum
Intel i5 3.4 GHz or AMD FX8350 64-bit processor
8GB RAM
2GB Nvidia 660ti graphics card or better (driver version 367.35)
Recommended
Intel i7 64-bit 3.6 GHz processor
16GB RAM
4GB Nvidia 970 graphics card or better (driver version 367.35)
AMD & Intel GPU's are not currently supported. Since Mesa has made amazing progress this year, I am hoping it won't be too long before they can be pushed up to supported status. The most likely reasoning is that the current stable release of Mesa probably doesn't have high enough OpenGL version support.
How do you think your PC is going to handle Mad Max? Looks like the Recommended requirements are pretty high this time which is a sign that Feral is preparing us for a heavy game.

Those are some beefy specs. Luckily, I'm good to go with my rig. I remember Mad Max was praised for good performance on Windows, hopefully this holds true on the penguin.

these CPU requeriments are kinda high considering it's a "well optmized" game for windows, i have a fx 6300, hope it's enough because i'll probably buy it anyway.

Arggg, my processor is a i5-3550 (3.3Ghz). Memory and GPU is enough. I think that this game can run well in my PC if I play in low settings. What's your opinion? I don't have problems with other games.

I think that the 7€ price was a mistake. The reduction was only for the Euro price and corrected very quickly to 10€. Which is still pretty cheap for this game.

...this should clearly fall into the max quality settings category ;-)
Looks like a buy and try to me.
On the other hand: a slideshow of sand and sun, while a gentle warm breeze from my pc is warming my feet, does not sound to unappealing either, considering the nights are starting to get chilly this time of year around here.
Update: about an hour into the game it actually seem quite playable(with a few minor stutters) even with settings cranked up to eleven. Pretty sure there will be more taxing enviroments later on but there is a lot of room to scale it down it i guess.
