Not likely to ever be added.

Such a shame this stuff is always when I'm at the office :( But good luck to Matt & Liam :)

Cross platform multiplayer is unlikely to happen due to the age of the game and the complexity of the problem. Here is an explanation of the problem (it's the same as we encountered with Company OF Heroes 2 & the Total War games)

Hey edddeduck,

actually I know about these problems from the post you just linked. To be honest (I'm a dev myself) the information presented over there is not quite precise. Since I don't know any backgrounds about the involved technologies it's hart for me to give any solution to the problem given.

Still I think to have multiplayer games that do split the already small community into windows vs mac/linux is a desater! I want to play with my friends! I'd also be willing to buy and donate the game to them. But what's the reason if I then still can't play with them?

I'd be happy if feral might still look into the issue. Maybe a rewrite of the whole multiplayer for the windows cliens as well might solve the problem. Also an emulated solution/middleware to synchronize the clients might be an idea.

Thank you for your hard work anyway!!!
