Linux gamers are sweet-talking Aspyr Media again

By -

Recently I posted about Linux gamers sending treats to both Aspyr Media and Feral Interactive, well, Linux gamers are at it again!

It seems we have a penguin infestation in our office... Must be from all the cookies. Thank you guys so much! #Fanlove #Linux pic.twitter.com/JdtbhXgCYC

It's really nice to see such appreciation from Linux gamers, hopefully it won't be for nothing.

Will let you know as soon as we have any news to share on Civilization VI for Linux.

That's awesome !

If I was a dev, such attention would fill my heart of genuine joy :)

Aspyr: "Thanks for the cookies, but the civ6 linux port isn't feasible, sorry".
This outcome is possible, just to keep in mind lol. Hopefully the cookies will make them to give their best effort when it comes to proof than the game can be ported to linux.

I SOOO home they bring Civ 6 to Linux. It's the only thing that keeps making me twitch with Windows in mind. Must... resist.. the... dark... side...

I would love to see Homeworld Remastered on Linux, but looks like Gearbox wasn't pleased by the sales of their Borderlands ports?

Still holding out hope Aspyr (or Feral) will reach out to Frontier and do an Elite: Dangerous port!

Time for Ferrel to drop in and grab 50-70% and foot the work. Money to be made.

If they get enough cookies, they'lll not be able to move away from their computers anymore (due to... erm... bodily reasons), and will work on Linux ports all around the clock!

Oh my gosh, me too! Plus, being from Italy, i often confuse both words (as i mess "though", "thoughts" and "tough" ) and need to read twice to be sure lol.
I think we should read slower

Hey, they weren't that bad. I had quite some fun playing BInfinite, SpecOps: The Line and Saints Row.

I do not expect this trend to stop anytime soon.

With that said, the content of the boxes could change if no port is announced, huehuehue <insert devil smiley here> (just kidding).

I enjoyed so much Dirt Showdown, specifically the multiplayer! And i got Saints 2,3 and 4 with all dlc last month. So far I'm cranking hours on sr2, it has just everything i was missing from San Andreas!
Looking forward for Bioshock and Spec ops too.

Dammit, I forgot Dirt Showdown. It's another good VP port which runs surprisingly well.

There's SO many games I'd like to see more than civ6... Fallout, gta, mass effect,... Hear me, Aspyr? :-)

In DIRT Showdown I had a problem with dissapearing tyres, that seems to be unresolved until now (over 1 year later).

But Spec Ops: the Line was the best Linux port surprise for me in the whole Linux gaming history. The port was ok and the game was great story-wise. And without this site I would never heard of that game.
