It seems Homefront: The Revolution [Steam] is seeing some fresh Linux-related activity on SteamDB, with it being giving a launch configuration.
If I may direct your attention to this and this it seems that someone has started focusing on the Linux version some more. The latest update being today and only a few hours ago too.
We already knew it was confirmed for Linux, and back in June the publisher did state it was still in the works.
While it doesn't have the best reviews, a lot of people are still enjoying it. It is also a game that is still updated and supported with patches and DLC so it's certainly not a dead on arrival game.
As usual, when it releases I will give it a look and a report without bias as I have not played it. We still don't have a big choice when it comes to good-looking FPS games, so I am still hoping it's at least reasonably fun somehow. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

With so many games coming to linux.Now is the time for microsoft to port their games.They could do that with "rise of nations", Which is still the best RTS.
Remember, back on those days pcgamers used to not hate microsoft as much as now. They used to publish great games like AOE,RON and others for PC.Microsoft became complete bicth when they launched XBOX.
Now,I ask to microsoft,Port ur games to linux and accept the fact that ur OS has failed the PC gamers.

I don't find that those "pro" reviews have any more value than the "amateur" ones. You still need to dig trough personal opinions, genre prejudice and other stuff to get some sort of idea of what value you could give it yourself. It takes time.

I've been burned too many times in the past trusting "professional" reviewers saying nice things about games that turned out to be polished turds to actually trust them, You Liam, on the other hand, haven't steered me wrong on any games you've reviewed & I've later bought, You I trust.

Weeeell... "No Man's Sky" got pretty good to average reviews by the pros, but "overwhelmingly negative" ones by amateurs. What am I supposed to make of that?

Because NMS isn't a very bad game if considered objectively? It may have been overpromoted and overpriced, however.
Just trying to find an explanation...
