It seems Homefront: The Revolution [Steam] is seeing some fresh Linux-related activity on SteamDB, with it being giving a launch configuration.
If I may direct your attention to this and this it seems that someone has started focusing on the Linux version some more. The latest update being today and only a few hours ago too.
We already knew it was confirmed for Linux, and back in June the publisher did state it was still in the works.
While it doesn't have the best reviews, a lot of people are still enjoying it. It is also a game that is still updated and supported with patches and DLC so it's certainly not a dead on arrival game.
As usual, when it releases I will give it a look and a report without bias as I have not played it. We still don't have a big choice when it comes to good-looking FPS games, so I am still hoping it's at least reasonably fun somehow. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

DeepSilver has been great about getting AA and AAA titles ported to Linux, and Darksiders disappointment nothwithstanding, I'm excited to see this game is at last coming to Linux. But I remember the very good sale prices This game has sold for as well, so while I'm absolutely certain I will be buying this game, I am not yet certain what price I'm willing to pay for it.

Do you own the game, have you played it? If you have, did you play after the recent patches that seem to have fixed a lot of the performance issues/bugs?
Asking because I've been following the game and a lot of people indicated a recent patch fixed most of the issues they were having and made the game much more enjoyable.

Darksiders doesn't belong to Deepsilver; THQNordic is the owner of the franchise... Nordic doesn't care about Linux recently.

I submitted the Darksiders games in the Feral requestinator stating that if Feral were doing them they would actually get done!

Yeah, I haven't come to the soon conclusion either. From my perspective they only just actually started working on it, so we're probably several if not many months out.
