Here's a way to grab Tomb Raider while supporting the porter Feral Interactive directly, it's currently dirt-cheap on the Feral store.

£4.49 for a major game like Tomb Raider until the 13th of October. It has it's issues with performance in places, sure, but since the patch it is better. I still hope they are able to push it a little more in future, but at that price it's a fantastic deal.

Could be something ideal to start your weekend with, let me know if you plan to pick it up, and what you think to it! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

+1 from me

Quoting: WorMzyUnfortunately I couldn't get this game to run when I originally bought it, and Feral support didn't respond to me until after I had to refund it on Steam. Maybe it's chance to give it another chance, but I'd have to buy it through Steam again to make sure the refund option is still available to me if it's still not working.

Did anyone else get CTD immediately after the corrupted splash screen, but keep the game? Does it launch properly now?

Not seem any major reports of that, I assume you're not using Ubuntu as that issue sounds very much like missing libraries. We did a bunch of fixes to fix unsupported distro setups in one of our patches that might have solved things.

Super cheap?!
5,99€ + paypal takes 2,50€...

And Steam has sold this 2,99€...

For me, it's about half the price Steam has it for right now, so yes, I consider that pretty damn cheap for a game that didn't cost much to begin with for us.

Already got it. Need to get around to playing it. Noting that you don't have to pay the Paypal fee, if you go credit/debit card.

The only issue I had back in the summer was strangeness with linking to the correct library files where I had to manually copy all the required libraries from the steam runtime into TR own lib folder for the game to actually run correctly. For some reason the game just couldn't find them itself.

Absolutely no problem at all on Antergos. Stable FPS with no crashes. Give it a try.
Almost pulled the trigger on this last week at full price but decided to wait on a sale. Came faster than I expected =D

Tried to buy with credit card. Not the most painless way :). Almost was tempted to pay 2.50 EUR to paypal. But got it right with my third try :D
