It's sharing time today, as sharing is caring right? What have you been playing recently, and what do you think?

I've been playing a lot of Rocket League. I know, shocking right. The game is by far my favourite at the moment and playing it online with a few people from the community is insanely fun.

I also started Firewatch during the last two livestreams, and it's actually pretty good. The banter between the characters is quite natural and amusing. I am looking forward to continuing that on Friday for the next stream.

Hello all, I bought Metro Last Light Redux for 5€ on steam. I'm a pretty impressed. The game looks very good, no major bug. Story and ambiance is very immersive. Gameplay is enjoyable. An AAA on linux running very smooth is a joy to play. I only have a small bug, is everytime I launch the game I have to go to video settings because v sync turn itself on, despite being on "off", and unfortunatly I can't run the benchmark.sh

I have a i7 2600, 12Gb DDR3, GTX970, a I can run the game with physx on 1440*900, every option at max, exept SSAO, I put it to x3 to keep framerate above 60fps. On average I have around 75fps.

I am also waiting for Mad Max that I may buy if price is not too expensive at feral store.

Meanwhile I barely start Windows to play my games, as there is either a native version, or it runs perfectly in wine. Even though I haven't played a lot in single player, I played a lot multiplayer. Especially as I've been to some LAN parties recently.
Among those games are: FlatOut 2 (Linux version from gog), Warcraft III (wine), Aliens vs Predator (2010, running perfectly in wine, also its dedicated server), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (wine + special registry entry = perfect), No Man's Sky (also perfect with wine), Rocket League, PayDay 2, Unreal Tournament (Alpha) and DotA 2.

My favorite from that list is AvP atm. This game makes so much fun in multiplayer and its different game modes. There is of course the classic deathmatch and team deathmatch, but already those modes get spiced up by the different species. As you can have species modes, where for example marines fighting aliens fighting predators. Or mixed species team deathmatch, where you can choose your species. There are also modes like domination (capture and hold control points), predator hunt (only the player who is the predator can score) and my favorite mode: infestation.
In this mode you have to survive the alien infestation. Meaning one player is chosen randomly to be the first alien. All other players are marines. Each marine the alien kills is becoming an alien on respawn... "warning: infestation is reaching critical level" :D Until only on marine is left in a last man standing mode. It's so much fun!

I wish I would have more time to play, and when I have time, I wish I would be more in the mood to play ;)
Nevertheless, there are only a very few games for me worth booting into Windows. Which are Elite: Dangerous and Doom. Hope both will be running sooner or later also on Linux.

It's getting on Halloween, so I've been doing all scary games. Finally played through Amnesia: The Dark Descent - it was very good on atmosphere but the story was meh. Currently going through The Slaughter: Act 1, and it's .. okay. Going to give it one more shot to grab my attention before I give up on it. Also Super Sky Arena with my son (4) and he loves it.

Right now, Shadowrun: Dragonfall. I only got partway through it before real life intervened when I first bought it, so now I've restarted from the beginning. Lots of fun.

Finally decided to do Shadow Warrior this weekend. On "hard" of course. Bloody mayhem! Also the usual hours in X-Plane.

Quoting: CorbenWarcraft III (wine)
Now there's an idea. I've played all official single player campaigns a handful of times, but haven't touched the game since I switched to Linux a few years ago.

Been playing lots and lots of Europa Universalis 4 and Hearts of Iron 4 - not much to say there, try take over the world with your favourite country :D
Been also playing some Plague Inc Evolved, quite good for a little fun inbetween, as it doesn't consume much time to complete a game (eu4 and hoi4 are blackholes for time) and it's quite challenging :)
Played (and will be playing) CoD Blops 3 with friends (it was a gift, not gonna say no to free games!) although it's on Windows D:
Played some less Rainbow Six Siege than a few weeks back, because I feel like the new Update made the netcode and hitreg even worse... and it's pretty much the only reason I use Windows anymore. Maybe if we get Dx11 in Wine... :D
Yeah, quite many different things, but it was autumn holidays, so from now on substantially less time to play games :c ...until Christmas that is :D
