It's sharing time today, as sharing is caring right? What have you been playing recently, and what do you think?

I've been playing a lot of Rocket League. I know, shocking right. The game is by far my favourite at the moment and playing it online with a few people from the community is insanely fun.

I also started Firewatch during the last two livestreams, and it's actually pretty good. The banter between the characters is quite natural and amusing. I am looking forward to continuing that on Friday for the next stream.

CS:GO its classic with modern graphics. İts in fact become more better with sound updates.
Rust some improvements has been done for overall performans but mostly that effected Linux client.

7 Days To die, in coop with a buddy. Once I got past the mediocre graphics it's a good sandbox game. Love the crafting and exploration/looting part of it, not so sure about the zombies but I guess it's needed for the tension.

It even gives me a slight hint of the epic Fallout-feel - and that's only a Good Thing.

It's still in pre release state (Early Access) but things are already quite decent. The recently added tutorial was very much needed and the promise of upcoming features that might even make it *great*.

I played mostly 7 days to Die and Company of Heroes 2, but also Shadow of Mordor, Dirt Showdown and Grid autosport, and I finally updated Payday 2 and got back to it. Does't help that the game won't update below 40Gb free space as my small HDD is nearly full.

7 days is great since it renders correctly now on Linux. Before A15 I tended to get black textures under water and the sun was too bright.

Company of Heroes 2 works flawlessly, as every Feral ports I own. Same for Dirt (arcade style) and Grid (A bit more simulation, but still not too much)

Shadow of mordor is a a very pleasant game but quite graphical intensive on my GTX 950m and i5 4100H. Fortunately my resolution is only 1366*768 so I still get more than 30FPS, but not much.

Payday has never been broken for me since it got ported on Linux, that's why I did not understand your post on it. The only thing not working flawlessly was the French language that I had to manually edit in the xml file as Steam enforce English no matter what. Not that it is a challenge, but when you're playing with friends that have their game in French it can be tricky to give information when you don't recall how they named this particular thing in the French version :p

Stellaris with a friend, and Metro:Last Light Redux solo. I get a full 60 FPS on both with a single GTX 970 @ 3440x1440, only having to turn down antialiasing in Metro.

Just bought two new expansion packs for Crusader Kings II (Conclave and The Reaper's Due), so I've been putting some time into that. Crusader Kings II was one of the first games I bought when Steam for Linux was officially released, and it remains one of my favorite games to this day. The complexity and level of detail is something that I don't know if I'll ever fully wrap my head around, but it all makes for some terrific, open-ended gameplay.

Right now I'm playing as a duke in France. I started with a single province and three vassals, and through some nefarious scheming I was able to inherit a second province free and clear with no other claimants waiting in the wings (those children really should have been more careful around the castle parapets). Of course my character is a bit of a sociopath (he dug up a rival's body in order to steal his head and display the skull as a trophy!), but he'll die of old age soon, and then his more benevolent son will inherit the seat of power.

Recently converted to Linux, so I was glad to get League of Legends installed with only one error (on my part) when trying to get it running. It's so buttery smooth... mmhmm. Damn.

I haven't touched Windows in a couple weeks but I might hop back over there to play some more Space Engineers...

And in the past week I've probably put 10 or 12 hours into ForeveRacer lol

Quoting: subI'm currently playing Shenzen I/O and I love it.

Unfortunately it has not been covered on GoL so far.

The game is in the same vein as TIS-100 (same developer - Zachtronics).
While it's currently marked "Early Access" it's actually done - including the campaign.
I didn't face a single issue so far (apart from the PDF manual not loading directly from in-game)

If you like(d) TIS-100 go for it.
Such a great game.

I just bought TIS-100 today and I do love it, so I guess I shall be looking into Shenzen I/O after that! It is a shame that GoL has not covered either, they both seem great and of course linux friendly. I also miss (altough I haven't yet played these) Pony Island and Papers, Please covered here, they seem very interesting, and have been linux all along AFAIK.

TIS-100 gives me the same joy and sense of achievement that I felt in high school programming classes when solving problems after a lot of grumbling and thinking, it's just awesome and absorbing, and I really find the story very intriguing this far (10 segments in or so). I have not felt inspired by any games recently, but this is great! I've always been interested in programming (still reading books on it etc.) since younger days, but never had any problems to solve (I work in an archive...), well now I do, and it's awesome. And only like 7 dollars on GOG! Get it!

Does Shenzen have the same kind of "story" to keep me interested?

Morrowind with the OpenMW Engine and Quake 3 with the IOQuake3 Engine.

I can't comment much on morrowind because I'm grinding up skills before I do any quests because I want to do the most boring things I can think of first and things get more interesting from there. So far, I have 100 hand-to-hand, 100 acrobatics, 100 speechscraft, 100 unarmoured, 100 sneak and I'm now working Light Armour. Hand to hand is actually pretty powerful, you could punch somebody to drain their fatigue and once they're down, you can just keep on punching until their health runs out.

As for Quake 3, I'm playing on Hardcore with bots and it's pretty hard for me, but I think I've done most of the Maps.

Been enjoying my small library in general. Rotating through Rocket League, Skullgirls, Bastion, and Steamworld Dig. If I had more space, i'd be playing Borderlands 2 & Tomb Raider. Got done with the free Life is Strange episode, too;I need to buy the full game!
