With the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided release happening tomorrow, Feral Interactive have released the system requirements. It will need a pretty decent rig.
It is a heavy game, I've seen plenty of reports about the Windows version requiring a beefy PC to play it reasonably well, so this isn't surprising.
Note: AMD GPUs aren't supported. The likely reason is that Mesa doesn't officially have high enough OpenGL support (the new release doesn't officially expose 4.4/4.5 yet), and it may have some performance issues to sort out.
Minimum
Intel Core i3-4130 or AMD FX8350 processor
8GB RAM
2GB Nvidia 680 graphics card (driver version 367.57).
Recommended
Intel Core i7-3770K
16GB RAM with a 6GB
Nvidia 1060 graphics card (driver version 367.57).
I will give you as much information as I can tomorrow at release on how it performs on Linux and what I think.
Some you may have missed, popular articles from the last month:
Quoting: libgradevQuoting: PublicNuisanceYet another reason to kick myself over getting that RX 480 over a GTX 1060 back in September. My GTX 680 is now the minimum haha. Oh well, I'll still be interested in the game.
Hang in there! My RX480's running pretty good on mesa git (Mad Max) :)
Agreed, just because Nvidia Specs are defacto doesn't mean RX 480 on AMD-PRO or MESA-git wont run it, someone around here will volunteer as guinnee pig I guarantee it, and if they do and post bugs fast enough they'll probably get worked out on launch week.

Pretty beefy requirements. My machine makes the requirements, luckily, so I'm all set, though I won't be picking this for likely a month at least as I have a pretty good issue, that being too many games to play as it is. I still have to finish Mad Max, then get back to my Valley and Axiom Verge playthroughs. Also, Tyranny comes out in about a week, and that takes priority over DX for me. That said, I will definitely be getting Mankind Divided at some point.

At least Feral is realistic, compared to what is recommended in general by editors. As a reminder on windows a GTX1080 will only give you 60fps on ultra settings at only 1080p and without MSAA activated.
Recommanded gtx1060 is about a gtx970, so it's allright for this game. i7 and i5 are quite similar performancewise in gaming. If we can play in high with this hardware, it's a big achievement. If it's the case, I guess the perfs then should be close like the ones from dawn of war 2 against windows!

Waw... My GTX 960 2GB seems out for this game... Because 2GB is so low no?

Quoting: pete910I would stongly disagree with that statement. I agree not to get a 1080 as the performance gain over the 1070 is negligible compared to the difference in price. The new Pascal architecture is just plain superior to Maxwell in power consumption, features, clock speeds and the 1070 has more VRAM. Being the newer card it also has a longer life/support expectancy ;)Quoting: GBeeHmm, time to get that GTX 1070/1080 then ...
Speaking as someone that has a 1080, go for a 980/ti and save some £££/$$$

Is the game already out now? I l'm still waiting for the sale. I felt a bit betrayed since Mad Max was on sale a week after the Linux Release.
