Looks like Total War: WARHAMMER [Steam] might be closer to release for Linux, as Feral Interactive will be livestreaming the Linux version on Wednesday the 16th of November. They usually only do this when a title is near release.

It will start at 6PM UTC:

I'm pretty excited, as Dawn of War II has me quite interested in the Warhammer universe now since it came to Linux. I wasn't a big fan before, but I can't wait to try it out. I've always been a fan of Total War, so fusing them together sounds awesome.
There's really no stopping Feral, wow.

Oh, no, please let me complete DoW2 and Shadow of Mordor first...

It's hard to keep up with feral. I need to finish Deus Ex before Total War comes out ^^

It's the same way of playing, but the thematic is very different. I enjoyed a lot Attila and Medieval, but Warhammer theme don't like me like Rome thematic

I devoured DoW II and both its extensions, and loved it so much I just bought DoW Complete Collection to play it through Crossover.
Same as Liam, I wasn't a fan of this universe, but now I'm even considering getting a box or two of the tabletop version!
For those interested, there's a 20% discount and an exclusive character both for TW: Warhammer in this month issue of the White Dwarf. I'm just waiting for the game to be released and I'll get it ASAP.

We're still left with that pesky "Depth Charge" clue.

Just don't confuse Warhammer with Warhammer 40K. This game is based on the former. They are kiiiinda in the same universe, but different eras and overall different genres.

Hope to see Blood Bowl (1 or 2) ported to Linux too!
Blood Bowl 2 was my first and only game on the Warhammer Universe but I'm interested in this game too!
Can't wait to see the minimum requirements!

I've been a Warhammer Fantasy fan since the second edition of the rule book, there's nothing like building & painting those models then putting them up against another player's army & soundly trouncing them or being handed your army's ass on a plate.
I can't wait for this one. :D

Wow. They never sleep. Mad Max, Deus Ex and now Total War. Three premium titles at the end of the year. I know what I'm doing this Christmas. :)

Yeah and I almost don't want that one to release now. If it releases and TW Warhammer releases there would only be one other game left coming to Linux on the radar, which is probably Dirt Rally. They need to restock the radar!
It seems like they had a bunch of games ready for launch, but they only want to release one at a time. I say split the screen, one release on the left another on the right.
