Never a day goes by where there isn't a sale for you to pick up cheap games from decent stores. Today GOG has started the 'Monstrous Fall Sale'.

In the sale you can find some pretty good Linux games like these choice picks:
- Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition - 50% off
- Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut - 80% off
- Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - 50% off
- Darkest Dungeon - 40% off

There's many more on sale, so take a look.

Will you be picking up some cheap DRM free Linux games? Let us know what you're getting!

I already own most of what I want, so I might give this sale a miss myself. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

unfortunately not for linux (works fine in wine though), but I'd like to mention that
the https://www.gog.com/game/divine_divinity deal (84% off here) is a steal alone for the brilliant soundtrack!
bad luck I already own it on gog :}

Oh damn Original Sin cheers man

So far picked Bastion and Freedom Planet, mainly to replace the Humble Bundle ones as I like to have everything in one place.

Welp, there goes my wishlist. If this keeps up I'll end up owning all Linux games on GoG (no I won't, there's some games on there that seem positively terrible).
PublicNuisance Nov 4, 2016
Picked me up Psychonauts, Satellite Reign and Serpent in the Staglands on first day. Already owned a lot of the others.

I picked Escape Goat. I'll buy the sequel soon.

It's a shame The Swapper (USD 1.59) doesn't have a Linux version on GOG. :/
Nezchan Nov 4, 2016
Tempted to pick up Aquaria, it's really cheap and I've heard good things. But I dunno if an action game is my speed right now.

Agreed as I prefer Linux games from GOG over other DRM free sources. They list the version number when downloading so you can tell if it is updated or not from what you had. Itch.io does this as well. There is a DRM free version of The Swapper from Humble Store that has a Linux option if you're interested.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know it had a DRM free version on the Humble Store.

UPDATE: Since I had bought a lot of games of the Interplay bundle before I moved to Linux, I was able to buy Prehistorik 1 & 2, Star Trek 25 Anniversary, Star Trek Judgement Rites and Toonstruck at an even cheaper price. I also bought Eradicator and D: The Game from the Night Dive bundle.

I will buy another game later so that I receive Oxenfree as a gift.

Also, for those interested in very old games the GOG RPG bundle has full Linux support.
Until now, I purchased for my Linux machine:
STEAMWORLD DIG
A BIRD STORY
BASTION
FEIST
SIR, YOU ARE BEING HUNTED
DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN - ENHANCED EDITION COLLECTOR'S EDITION

I got the three FREE bonus games. Two of them, VICTOR VRAN and DEX, are Linux games.

For my Windows machine, two days before the sales, I purchased:
CRYSIS
CRYSIS: WARHEAD
MEDAL OF HONOR™: PACIFIC ASSAULT

And I'm gonna buy THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT - GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION

I don't know If GOG will release more new games..

I've also picked up Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition and Stardew Valley.

I'm currently totally fascinated by Pillars of Eternity so I'm pretty sure I'll also enjoy Divinity, which I've always been interested in anyway.

Also unlocked the three free games but for some reason they haven't been added to my account yet. Maybe later.

Thanks Nel, I already did and redeemed all three games. But still, they are not showing in my library.

The FAQ also mentions something about a gift code if one already owns one of the three games, which in my case is Dex that I already own, and I haven't received that code either. So I'll wait a little longer and contact GOG.com maybe tomorrow if by then the games don't show up in my library.

In the end, I wasn't after the free games but only the games that I've bought anyway.
Nel Nov 6, 2016
Ok I understand. I only unlocked the first game and it instantly went into my account library. Don't know for already owned games though. I already own both last ones and don't plan to buy something else.

And I'm gonna buy THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT - GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION
Note that it's still unplayable on Linux, and it seems Wine is pretty far away from good DX11 support yet.

I know, but I have two PC's; one with Ubuntu and another with a legit Windows 7 64bit Pro, so that is not a problem...
I like to support CD-projekt Red because, unlike other Devs and publishers, They trust their consumers with the GOG's DRMFREE philosophy.
