For those that don't know: I recently added a livestream events page, to help people know when we are streaming. It was requested by a user and I thought it would be useful.

I just today added the ability to add in streams from the community too. So hopefully it can be even more useful as time goes on!

It has an ical link to add the events to your calendars, but I'm not entirely sure if it's working right. If others could test for me and keep me updated on it breaking that would be ideal.

The next step is to allow registered users to submit livestream events to it as well, so that it can be a real community page. I'm a big believer in community spirit, and hopefully you guys will like that part of it.

The final step will likely be to upgrade it to be not only for livestreams, but for tournaments and other events as well, but that may need its own page. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

Thumbs up, I like it! As a heads up, importing the .ical to Thunderbird worked fine, the events show up at the correct local time.

How about different calendar files, so the community could add events other than livestreams as well. There could be a calendar file for linux user gaming meetups or hackery or maker assemblies. Or genre or even game specific calendars to rally community members.

Very nice feature!

I'm really glad you took the idea and improved upon it, Liam! The ical is working fine, I can see in my Google Calendar the same events from the events page. However, the Community stream for Total War: WARHAMMER shows as "GOL Livestream > Total War: WARHAMMER". Shouldn't it be something like "Community stream > Total War: WARHAMMER"?

Ah yes good shout, that has now been implemented, you might have to re-add it for it to pick that up though as it was a code change.

A twitch team to go with this would probably be a good idea.

What do you mean by a twitch team exactly?
