Here's something awesome, 'A Good Bundle' is being hosted on games store itch.io where all proceeds go to charity.
Where does the money go?
100% of the proceeds from this bundle will be split 50-50 between the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and Planned Parenthood.
Even if you aren't fussed by the charities involved for any reason, don't pass up a good deal.
What do I get?
Well, it depends how much you spend. The bundle starts at $2 and goes up to $20 (or more if you wish). Each level gives you a different amount of games.
A bunch aren't on Linux as it's a general indie bundle. Even so, there's some damn good games included in it that do support Linux.
Some of the games you can find in the bundle that support Linux: Gone Home, Proteus, Sokobond, Catlateral Damage, Orion Trail, A Good Snowman Is Hard To Build, The Novelist and many more.
Great advertising for itch.io too. Hey I get to mention how much I love itch.io again!

Maybe it's old news now, but I know I'm not the only one still depressed about things here in my home (USA). But people coming together and doing nice things like this really does make me feel better!
It might be tempting to write it off as just another marketing scheme, since Itch and the game developers will benefit at least from the increased exposure, but that kind of cynicism can ruin literally anything. You can only be so cynical about 100% proceeds to charity.
Sometimes people, even people running companies, do actually want to do something good for other people! I really need more examples of that like this right now.

Did trolltrump just wander in here? :P I am very tempted, nice initiative! Must be very hard to be positive in the USA today.
Also, check out the latest humble bundle, TIS-100 for free (or more if you want I guess). No reason not to try!

I'm probably not too interested in the games, but ...people like you make funding of NGOs like these ones all the more important.

I've removed the overly hateful and idiotic comment, no need for it.

Thanks but no thanks! Much trash with the chance to find a few good titles?

Hey, as many as are depressed, are happy!
Also, please don't be so prejudiced against business owners, they're as much people as you or I.
