In their release announcement they said this:

Hopefully a number of you pick it up if you like the look of it.
I personally think it looks fantastic and I might even give it a go myself!
About the game
Each player has only 5 actions per turn. They then have only 2 fretful minutes to decide what to do with those 5 actions. Panic will set in. The possibilities and threats will become overwhelming. Your mind will freeze up! Your time is running out for you to complete your objective, but one wrong move could be fatal! There are just so many ways to die in The Living Dungeon. Seems like Hero Quest or Descent to me.

My only complaint is that the tiles looks awfully scifi for a fantasy setting, hopefully something that can be amended with a little texture hacking.
Still I think I'll buy a hand full of these as early Christmas presents, one though, does cross platform multiplayer work? I've a few friends who've yet to see the penguin shaped light.

Thanks - well then I don't understand why they didn't go multiplat from day one. But man, Unity sure has come with age!

The first time I spoke to the Dev team (at the last EGX at Earl's Court, so September 2014?) I'm not sure they even knew Linux existed. Since then they've progressed from "we won't be doing a Linux version" through "we probably won't be doing a Linux version" to "so, we've built a Linux version". They are a young team, pretty sure this is their first game after leaving University, and we should be thankful they're willing to grow, adapt and learn rather than be critical of decisions made by their younger selves.
