The mech battling game 'Heavy Gear Assault' is heading to Steam soon and they are giving away 1000 keys to people who sign up on their mailing list.
It launches on Steam on December 15th, so it's not long to go. They recently released a Linux version too which personally I tested and it actually ran pretty well.

They raised the money after kickstarter by going public, they trade under BOT on the Canadian stock exchange (CSE) They have AI bots as well as players, I'm still hopeful one day they will add single player.

We'll got my key and got this error "Login Failure: Login JSON response badly formatted". I was and am really looking forward to play this game not sure what the issue is but hope they get it fixed.
