Parkitect [Steam, GOG, Official Site] is a really damn cute theme park building game currently in Early Access, the developers have recently release another content update.

I have hope that once finished, that this game will be able to fill the theme park hole. It's already rather good, but it's still too much of a sandbox right now. They are making sure they get the basics rights, before putting a lot more work in to the business sim part of it, which is a good idea.

Changelog:
- added Car Ride
- added Power Surge
- added new notifications UI + ongoing notifications
- added 3 new ride music songs
- added Pizza Stall
- added new props
- added a bunch of new sounds
- added more statistics
- all kinds of balancing improvements across most parts of the game
- fixed people leaving queues after loading savegame (can still happen on first load with Alpha 8)
- fixed not being able to pick up people while game is paused
- fixed tracked rides not restoring customized train colors properly
- fixed loans not getting paid back
- fixed dozens of smaller bugs

They also put out another development report, where they say they have upgraded to Unity 5.5, so that should be available in the next alpha after this one. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Hmm , was thinking if there is a nice Theme Park manager for Linux.
This looks interesting indeed.
Will wait for Early Access to end though, got burned too many times there.
