Feral Interactive have made the Realm of the Wood Elves DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER compatible with Linux. Easily my favourite race, so I can't wait to play them.

Features
- New Wood Elves Race in the Grand Campaign.
- Two new Legendary Lords: Orion and Durthu.
- New campaign map with the ‘Season of Revelations’ Wood Elves story Campaign.
- New monsters, heroes, magic and game features.

You can grab the DLC from the Feral Store or from Steam.

Ps. Sorry for being late. I've been getting over a nasty stomach bug, not 100% yet but getting there. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

If you're complaining about no cross-platform multiplayer, that's never going happen because it would require a complete rewrite of the game from scratch.

While I don't think it would be anything so drastic, it would certainly require some effort. Actually, I'm not at all sure the effort would be that large, but it might require pushing GNU/Linux and MacOSX changes into the Windows builds, which isn't going to happen.
From what I understand, it would require a new math library which affects every aspect of the game and would require significant changes to the code to make it all work properly. Admittedly, I have limited understanding of the issue.

Quoting: Guesttldr; replicating Windows behaviour requires too much effort, so getting all platforms the same would mean changing the Windows codebase.
Stupid Windows.

Thats why I wrote dlc. Sega is annoyingly experienced at selling dlcs so they should easiely be able to work out a way to make it worth the developers efford - be it CA or Feral that do the coding on their end.

Since TW:Warhammer seems to be a long term project with lots of content to come it would be a good place to start getting crossplatform play to work.

Been really enjoying this game since I bought it a couple weeks ago. I'll be buying this DLC tomorrow. :)
