Rogalia [Steam, Official Site], an MMO-sandbox with an open world, meal-based character levelling and full-drop PvP has released into Early Access with Linux support.

Looks like a few old MMO games I played when I was younger, but the actual game map being so constraint I feel would annoy me a bit.

About the game
Rogalia is the craft-based MMO-sandbox with the cozy open world created by players. Feel free to kill people out of towns and claims. Gain useful vitamins from your meals and develop your character. Fight on Arena, battlefields and dungeons. Build your own world in the tough surroundings!

- Character levelling is based on vitamins gained from meals.
- Every attribute of your character may reach maximum value.
- You may share your rented patch with other players.
- Free economics developed by players.
- Crafted items have durability and quality attributes. Their values depend on your skill.
- A plenty of recipes and skills: craft, animal breeding, monster hunt, building and many more! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Completly my kind of drug. I didn't know about that one, thanks.

This seems a bit closer to my strike zone than the PvP-heavy offerings we've been getting so far. It certainly looks a lot better than the disappointing RPG MO, which also went for a similar Ultima/early Runescape look.

"Feel free to kill people out of towns and claims."

Oh, didn't notice that right off. Pass.
