Essentially, when playing in the Arcade game mode, you can have ghosts of other cars displayed from your local times, friends times, times near your last score or the global number 1. It's a fantastic feature if you feel a little lonely playing it.
You can also now view replays of your previous failures, so that's nice.
There's plenty more! See the full update notes here.
I just tried it out with this update and it works as beautifully as it ever did and I'm going to need to play more to get some good scores again. Honestly, I could listen to the soundtrack all day it's so great.
I highly recommend this game!

It's just 9€ right now, that's very tempting. I will likely pick it up later, though.
I like the fact that they continue to update their game like this. It might be early access, but it seems to me that they update it a bit more often than a lot other EA games (no, it's Early Access, here).

Don't worry we know Electronic Arts are not doing early access, they sell plain Alpha games and patch them when customer base gets too angry :D
If they were to propose some of their alpha's to Linux I might buy them however ^^

speed sensation is there for me, lack of opponents can be fixed with multiplayer, but in game like this opponents don't really work anyway, cause the tracks are so crazy and if one gets stuck somewhere its race lost :D
game is fun but i dont really like the jumping and flying :D

This game is in my Top Arcade Cars, second being Trackmania (the first one).

I'm curious about the game, but the store page claims 'partial' Controller support. What do they mean by 'partial'? Do you need the kb / mouse for some parts of it? Or can it be played on the couch exclusively once set-up?
EDIT: Fixed a typo.

Quoting: GuestI don’t get why people like this game. You can accelerate all the time without skidding or hitting walls, there is no speed sensation, the lack of opponents makes it even more boring, and the controls and camera are a pain (when flying). At least when I tried it a while ago…It's a survival racer, so you're fighting the track and the environment. And also, it is actually quite easy at times to smash right into a wall, depending on the track you play on.
The lack of opponents is only in the single-player, but if you play more than 2 tracks in the adventure mode, you will begin to understand the draw of it. The tracks and environments are really well done, as is the music to keep your foot tapping away.
If you jump in online, it's hilarious. We've done it a few times and watching people fail is great :D

You're not alone. I find this game boring as hell. The tracks are dull, no opponents, no challenges and the game is very repetitive.

Absolutely! Loving this game too! Can't wait for it to get oit of Early Access so it gets a wider user base. It's got a unique thrill which is hard to find these days.
