I had the pleasure of speaking to Sudoshred and Hex DSL today about Linux gaming and the GamingOnLinux website.
Video below:
You can check out their channel here for more interesting video content.
It's always fun to speak to the wider community and get involved with others work. Hopefully some of you will enjoy this too.
I apologise for saying "like" a lot, bad habit of mine.
Thanks for having me guys!

Nice talk! :D I enjoy Hex's videos a lot and sudoshred seems like a cool gent as well.
On the topic of retro games: the only Mega Drive games that I grew to love were Sonic (1-3&K and Sonic CD on the Mega CD, which is probably the best Sonic game ever, other than Generations) and Streets of Rage (all three of them were great games); I've been meaning to check out Phantasy Star and Shining Force. I honestly prefer the SNES/Super Famicom, but here's a really obscure opinion: I think Sega's best console was the Saturn. The Dreamcast was also really awesome.

Well, that is entirely up to you, isn't it? You may not be entirely satisfied with your code, but it exists and it works, as proven by the fact that I am able to post this message here. Therefore it can be published.Looking forward to GOL codebase going open source. :)As mentioned though, that's a long way off.
I do think it is a good idea, and would urge you to go ahead and release it sooner than later. If you are not comfortable with going all the way right from the start, make it invite-only (Patreon reward, maybe?). I am sure than we have a few code monkeys (me including) around that would love to poke their fingers in your code. ;)

Making it Patreon-invite only is something I have considered for early-on until I really think it's ready :)Well, that is entirely up to you, isn't it?
